Well, hello there Monday morning!  I am honest-to-goodness so happy to be back on track. Husband took the day off and is upstairs sorting toys and bits of life we’ve accumulated over the last however many years. I am purging my house with such fervor, I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden I have switched from wanting to keep things (for just in case) to being overjoyed to give the to families in need. It started with Shelley’s post and has just grown into this need for freedom. Be free little hand mixer I haven’t used since 2007; be loved with your new family!

Okay so how was your weekend? Filled with peaceful cups of tea or coffee between moments of swirling chaos? That’s about how it goes here.  The big news here is……

As of this summer, we will officially be residents of Toronto. Husband has the opportunity to spend the year in Toronto with work. I lived in Toronto for many years and I am super excited to be going back. It’s neat that we go for one year, so much opportunity to try new things. I think we’re going to explore a whole different way of life. Less stuff, more doing, more family!

Most of all I am so excited that I get to share this adventure with you. I think we are going to have A LOT of fun.
p.s. Jack isn’t mad that we’re moving he’s cross I asked him to stand straight, oh the horror!

*All photos, minus Lily’s, are courtesy of my new photographer, Lily Belle!

I am so, so happy for you! A year in the Big City! What are you going to do differently to shake life up a bit?

I’m thinking about living small. Much. Much. Smaller. I had husband convinced to do a 2plus 1 condo, which is basically a 2 bedroom and a den. BUT the dining room/kitchen was open and had floor to ceiling windows. Sadly it won’t be built in time.
